expo and workshop "Sensu" Tomohiro Kohdono

Saturday Oktober 12th, from 19h, is the opening of the exposition "sensu" by Tomohiro Kohdono.
He shows his handmade sensu (= Japanse folding fan) and fans painted by other Japanese artists: Hayato Onomura, Takuo Ohsumi, Magane Okuda, Naondo Fukumoto and Takumi Azechi.
The next Sunday Tomohiro starts the 1day or 3days (Su-Mo-Tues) workshop making sensu.

workshop Japanese tea by Carol Bailleul

Saturday Juin 22th from 14h till 16h Carol Bailleul (teasommelier) gives here a workshop Japanese tea. You will learn how to make a perfect cup of Japanese tea (sencha, gyokuro, matcha, ..)
and taste it with original homemade (by Carol) sweets.

Tuesday September 10th is the start of the two-weekly workshop Shodo (= Japanese calligraphy) and Sumi-e (Japanese painting technique) given here by Sol Michiels (5th Dan Shodo) from 19h till 21h30 with a tea/coffeebreak. The workshop is for beginners as well  as for advanced ones. Every participant can choose which technique he/she likes to practise - both can too.
Price: 18 euro
